There IS a sequel in the works - a lot of things that are in the first book get resolved in the second, but somewhere along the way, things got stalled up, and it's not finished yet. But I hope you really enjoy it!

And isn't this blog AMAZING?! Alex really made the place pop - this has got to be the best interview I've ever had, and it's certainly the best looking blog around. Thank YOU sooooo much! :)

Anyway, to answer your questions, two of the authors that I listed up there did and do provide beta type input to my works. (And I'm ALWAYS happy for readers to do the same thing, whether on blogs like this or my Facebook/Twitter/Webpages). The most important member of those two I listed is my wife, Megan - she and I 'cowrote' the characters of Keith and Javier for years before she gave me the idea of actually writing how they met and from where they started their relationship (because, as with most things, I throw myself right into the middle of it and work out the past stuff as I go forward. I'm an unashamed 'writes-by-the-seat-of-her-pants' author). But Suzana Wylie, while she didn't directly beta Desire, was my first non-family-member supporter, and she's fed me a fair many ideas for its sequel - and for the books I can write AFTER the sequel that feature Keith and Javier. Thank you SO MUCH for your interest and support - if you have further questions, you can always find me on Facebook.

Thanks again, and warmest regards!

M. (Yeah for One-click) Can't wait to read it. Thank you for your interview. I plan on looking up the authors you mentioned who influenced and inspired you. Have a "Buffy" (as in duh!) question here: Did the authors you listed provide actual beta-type input to your novels as you wrote them and how did that come about?
And thank you Alex :) for this blog and letting others meet exciting new authors like Morgann. And yes on both - I have always known I wanted to work to help people, but it took me until 2005 to figure out who it was I was equipped to help best (my family insisted it was kids and tried to get me to go the teacher route - NO THANKS). I love all aspects of elder care.

And most of the underexposure is my own fault - admittedly, I don't do half as much promo as I ought to, but when I'm featured on such an incredible blog, it's a little easier to talk about myself all day, because people have GOT to see more of Alex's work!

Thank you SO MUCH for having me on here today, Alex, and for all the work you put in to making my little interview here one of the most interesting and eyepopping blog posts I've ever seen - and between the ones on which I've been featured and all the ones I've stopped by to comment on when it's other writers being featured there, I've seen a good many. So thank you SO MUCH for doing all of this for me - you are AWESOME, and I can't wait to work with you again!

Seriously, EVERYONE should be clamouring to be on this blog. :)) Thanks so much!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16094148315488930677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284953130291496501.post-52106292253387979552013-10-05T06:35:03.252-07:002013-10-05T06:35:03.252-07:00Great interview with a very underexposed writer I ...Great interview with a very underexposed writer I hope to see more from, soon!Sessha Battohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15569927397738788073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284953130291496501.post-71228768928116907762013-10-05T05:55:48.623-07:002013-10-05T05:55:48.623-07:00Good morning, both of you scamps! Who'd-a-thunk, Mo, that you'd want to work in a nursing home, or that you (like myself) enjoy orchestral pieces of music.

The only thing missing from your work, Morgann, is more. As in more of it, and soon.

Best wishes for continued success. Love, ErinErin OQuinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00113229623866154645noreply@blogger.com
